Hi! I’m Sarah.

I’m a registered dietitian and freelance health and nutrition writer with a passion for science communication.

I’m here so that you can delegate the important work that you just don’t have time to do.

My goal as a health and nutrition writer and communicator is to provide evidence-based, engaging content that helps people cut through misinformation to get the answers they’re looking for.

This helps position you as the solution to your ideal client’s problems and converts followers into paying clients.

Education and Experience

I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alberta. Taking biochemistry ignited my interest in nutrition, and I obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Alberta. I completed my Dietetic Internship in 2018, and since then, have worked in a number of different clinical areas, including:

  • Weight management

  • Kidney disease

  • Diabetes

  • Cancer care

  • Heart disease

  • Gut health (my personal favourite!)

  • Food relationship/intuitive eating (a close second favourite!)

I’ve also completed training in SEO, email marketing, B2B writing and web copy development.

In addition to my work as a clinical dietitian, I’ve also worked as a freelance nutrition writer since 2018. I’ve had the privilege of creating content for other dietitians, as well as several companies, including:

  • Dairy Farmers of Canada

  • Becel

  • Ignite Nutrition Inc.

  • IrritableBowelSyndrome.net

  • Nourish

  • Well+Good

  • Forbes Health
